So you hit the jackpot and scored yourself some awesome rips on our live stream and now your thinking 'I wonder if they can get them graded?' The answer is yes! We sure can and we have partnered up with the only retailer for PSA card grading in Australia to have your cards graded by the gold standard of TCG card grading PSA!

Here is how our card grading service works:

 

Slab Rips is exclusive to PSA and as you all know they have built a reputation as one of the highest quality card grading services in the world. PSA offers consistancy as well as particular care when it comes to grading and assessing your pokemon cards, so you can be assured that your cards are being handled by the best in the business!

 

At this current time, we are only submitting cards from our live stream Rip & Ships, however we are currently in the process of building the infrastructure to allow customers to mail us their submissions in the future. We will be streaming Slab results live on stream when we receive the cards back from PSA!

If you wish to have your cards submitted that were pulled on our live stream, simply purchase the 'PSA Card Grading Submission' found in our store and we will submit them for grading for you. Please take note of the shipping times as well as the turn around times listed below.

Submission Deadline:
- Please be aware the cutoff for card submissions is the 25th of every month and all orders placed after this date will be sent in the following month.

 

Grading Turnaround Times:

-Currently as we are partnered with the only PSA retailer in Australia we are able to provide our customers with the fastest turnaround time which is on estimate from PSA at roughly 5-6 Months. Please be aware that these times can be affected based on PSA and is out of our control.

Cost, Payment and Potential Upcharges:
- The submission fee is $40 AUD per card. To pay simply head to our shop and purchase the PSA Submission Product, corresponding to the number of cards you'd like to submit.
- Please note, if your card has an average market value above $199 USD after grading, PSA may apply minor upcharges. While this is outside our control, it is worth noting that a higher grade often justifies a slightly higher fee due to the increased value of your card.

 

Important Note/Disclaimer:

While Slab Rips may be able to offer you our opinions on whether a card is worth submitting, it is crucial to understand that we are not a professional grading service and we can not perfectly predict the grade of a card from PSA. PSA assess several factors of both the front and back of the cards when grading, such as visible centering and whitening, scratches, fine marks, cornering conditions and the colouring of the card.
